Description

WITH ALL OF YOUR SENSES

The open format on the upper level invites visitors to experience the museum with all their senses. We encounter Cy Twombly’s artworks in a new way. What happens if we concentrate not only on what we can see? How do the impressions around us change our perception? We feel our way inside and allow ourselves to be inspired to react creatively!

The workshop will take place in the Lounge (upper level) and is run by Domenica Ewald. She is a teacher of dance and art, an interdisciplinary artist, and a yoga teacher. She studied theater with a focus on dance and American Studies at LMU Munich and graduated with an MA in Arts and Learning from Goldsmiths University in London in 2022. For several years she has been working as a dance and art educator wit various artists, theaters, museums and schools, including Museum Brandhorst.

THE OPEN FACTORY

Every Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., the intergenerational drop-in format “Open Factory” provides the right setting to get creative with the whole family or with friends. Changing techniques and themes entice you to take part in varied artistic projects, and to stroll through the exhibitions. Whether drawing, painting, using different printing techniques or dancing, whether analog, digital or hybrid—we will take you into the world of colors and shapes and appeal to your imagination and creative spirit.
